I just wanted to share a video that my great friend and colleague, Diane, put together along with the 1st grade team for me. Everytime I watch it, I cry and cry. It's so sweet. And believe it or not, I DID teach these kids spelling. haha I'm not sure what was going on with their writing but you can definitely see how I taught them to stretch sounds out! haha I'm not sure if most of you know just how much I love teaching and the school that I was at. I truly loved the people I worked with and the kids there so leaving last week was very hard and emotional for me. Briggs holds so many wonderful memories. In fact, it's where Brendan proposed to me. It was my first true expierence as a teacher and I think I was spoiled because I don't think I'll ever find a finer school with such fine fine people as Briggs.
I just wanted to share their video so everyone could see my babies! OK scratch that, the video wont play so I'll show the images!

Thank you for sharing. I was wondering about the spelling... These kids made my day so I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for you to say good-bye to them.
